Spending some time adding to the over 200+ training videos for Sunder Energy available in house via Enzy! My favorite video topic so far? Overcoming door knocking anxiety ?? it happens to even the most experienced sales people and that just means we’re human. ? Acknowledge it. That tightening in your gut, the feeling in the pit of your stomach, your heart constricting, and if you’re like me maybe getting a little sweaty. ? Lean in. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and let the emotions wash over you. Now let them pass. ? Understand what’s happening. Most times it’s not the circumstance that’s making us unhappy or anxious but rather the story we’re creating in our head about the circumstance. We had a bad interaction and suddenly our mind takes off - I’m not supposed to be here, I’m not good at this, I can’t do it - the longer we let our mind race the more heightened those emotions get. ? Interrupt the thought pattern. Ground yourself in reality and utalize positive affirmations - It’s not good timing for everyone and that’s okay, I’m here to help, my workplace success and failures aren’t a reflection of my self worth - we are the masters of our mind. ?????practical tips! Get the first conversation out the way as quickly as possible so you can hit your stride. Utalize an accountability buddy to help hold each other to higher standard.
