?? ? The?potential of bioenergy to make a flexible contribution to the energy system is key for the achievement of global emission reduction ambitions and the functioning of the low-carbon energy system and economy. Opportunities to provide flexibility from biobased value chains go beyond the power sector and short-term flexibility, as typically suggested in the literature.?Flexible bioenergy?has a unique supply-chain character as it?can provide flexibility in different dimensions: in inputs as feedstock and intermediates flexibility; in outputs as flexibility through bioenergy carriers and products; and operational flexibility in terms of time and space. companies are demanding green buildings – although globally this yet to be fully appreciated. “I think we are still at the early stages of people realising that there will be no future for buildings which are not green,” said Mr Ulbrich. “I don’t think there’s a full realisation of property owners, when they own properties which are not really green, that they are sitting on a melting iceberg.” With large tenants, especially corporations, imposing net zero targets, they are also chasing green buildings. “So you either are able to turn your existing building into a green building, or you will face some challenges going forward because the value of your building compared to neighbouring green buildings will just kind of melt away,” he said.
There is no future for buildings that are not green, says JLL boss Christian Ulbrich

The plant was heavily hit by the floods in autumn 2023, but it’s showing remarkable resilience and will soon be operational again?? ? 3?? Last visit of the day at Viopar's biomass power plant, the largest in Greece. The plant uses Turboden S.p.A. 's technology for the production of electric and thermal #power. The system uses a mix of sunflower husk #pellets and waste wood chip fractions as #fuel ?
