ESG had the honor of sponsoring and participating in our third annual Touch-A-Truck Chattanooga event to support the Junior League, a volunteer organization for women dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. The beautiful fall day drew huge crowds, with our Heil Environmental DuraPack Python stealing the show—especially among young refuse truck fans! Events like this are extra special as they give us the opportunity to live out our mission of improving lives while showcasing the industry's best waste collection equipment. As another wonderful example of living out our mission of Improving Lives, the amazing Heil Environmental team raised over $800 through their recent Hurricane Relief fundraiser! Partnering with a fellow Heil team member who also serves as the Chief of the Ider Fire Department, the fire crew is delivering much-needed supplies to North Carolina, where temperatures are already dropping significantly in the affected region. With the funds raised, our volunteers purchased six heaters (each with two refillable propane bottles), over 300 pairs of socks, and more than 40 blankets to provide warmth and comfort to those in need. #Community #Volunteering #ImprovingLives

Alan is an Aftermarket Training Specialist at Heil Environmental and has been with the company for a year. Before joining the Heil team, Alan was an instructor in the Ford FACT program at the NASCAR Technical Institute for two years and was a Ford technician for 32 years before that. “I enjoy traveling around the country to meet our customers and share my knowledge with them. Teaching is extremely gratifying because I can pass on the knowledge I have gained over the years. I believe it’s disrespectful to those who came before me if I don’t share it," he shared. The Heil Environmental team was incredibly honored to join the Outfield Angels, a special needs softball team in Fort Payne, for their season finale! With Heil team members cheering them on, the incredible Outfield Angels swung for the fences and created a day of unforgettable memories for all. To top it all off, they were surprised with an extra-special visit from the Rocket City Trash Pandas! This donation reflects the collective efforts of those who joined in Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraisers, including t-shirt sales and the company-wide Pink Pickleball tournament. For many on our team, this cause is deeply personal, touching the lives of family members, friends, and loved ones affected by breast cancer. Ruben is the Electrical Development Supervisor at Heil Environmental and has been with the company for five years. “I truly enjoy working on projects that enable cross-functional teamwork.
