With International Women's Day this weekend, we want to celebrate the skilled #WomenInWater we work with daily. To kick this off, it is our Director of Field Operations April Heywood! Granddaughter of a WWTP Operator, April was brought on to EDI as a field service technician in 2004 and built on her experience firsthand in the trenches with inspections and start-ups. A few years later, she became the Field Service Manager, overseeing field service company wide, including international trainings and inspections. After a spell as a consultant to EDI, she returned to the company in 2022 and in 2023 was promoted to Director of Field Operations. In this role, she maintains Field Service responsibility and also leads the growing SiteWorks team. Her amazing team serves our customers by providing quality installations, start-ups, and maintenance schedules for continuous high performance.
