Making Recycling Work at KosICT Tech Festival! Recycling starts with a simple yet powerful step: separation at source! When we sort our waste correctly from the start, we set the foundation for a cleaner, greener future. During the KosICT Festival, the Environmental Consulting Team and STIKK - Kosovo ICT Association staff have led by example, providing special bins across the event for easy waste separation. Today, thanks to your participation, all the waste separated over the last two days has been successfully sent to the local recycling company Italy Recycling L.L.C! Each step, each bin, and each choice matters on our journey towards responsible recycling. As part of the Empowering Environmental Civil Society Organizations in Kosovo (EECSOK) project implemented by Community Development Fund - CDF, Environmental Consulting Team and Recura have successfully completed capacity-building sessions covering key environmental topics: - Understanding Local and EU Environmental Frameworks - Current Environmental Legislation and Compliance with International Environmental Regimes - Environmental Resource Management and Climate Change Looking ahead, additional sessions will take place in September and October, designed to address the specific needs of participant organizations.
