As of December 2023, Enuma entered into a partnership with YBM , a renowned Korean educational company with a 60-year history of providing educational services to learners of all ages in Korea. Together, we are developing AI-powered digital textbooks in line with the Korean government's initiative to implement digital textbooks in Korea’s public education system starting in 2025. As the world's first nationwide initiative to transform traditional textbooks using Al, this policy has captured the attention of the global education community and garnered significant interest from international organizations dedicated to combating poverty and illiteracy, such as the United Nations and the World Bank. Our collaboration will initially focus on developing AI digital textbooks for elementary school English and mathematics, as well as middle and high school English. We plan to expand our partnership to develop content for other subjects in the future. We are thrilled to be featured in XPRIZE’s most recent episode of XPRIZE Innovators, their series spotlighting alumni teams. In 2019, we were named a co-winner of the XPRIZE Competition for demonstrating the highest learning gains among 198 teams worldwide with Kitkit School, a tablet-based learning app designed to enable children in rural Tanzania without access to schools to gain basic numeracy and literacy skills. Building on Kitkit School, we created Enuma School and expanded our partnerships with governments, NGOs, and educational institutions worldwide—reaching more children who need quality education most. Our team has just completed an energizing week launching Enuma School in #Nicaragua, as part of an RCT-based project (2024-2026) with the Inter-American Development Bank and Nicaragua's Ministry of Education, supported by the Government of Korea through the IDB Korea Poverty Reduction Trust Fund. During our visit, we conducted comprehensive training sessions with education officials and facilitators from 13 regional education offices who will be supporting 100 participating schools in Managua. We are deeply honored to have welcomed educators from Indonesia last week (Dec 4) through the KERIS teacher training program, as part of Indonesia's Micro Credential Follow Up Program. During their visit, early childhood educators and officials from across Indonesia showed exceptional enthusiasm during the Enuma School play session! The delegation included representatives from our pilot program regions of Lampung and Medan, as well as from Papua and Mimika - areas facing unique educational challenges. Their insights on implementing Enuma School in their respective regions were particularly valuable. Enuma has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SeeD (Special Education Teachers for Edutech and Digital Education) to develop innovative digital education content. As of September 2024, Enuma's Todo series has been widely adopted across Korea, with ?????? ?????????????? and ???? ?????????????????? ???????????????? ?????????????? (????????) across ???? ?????????? ???????????????????????utilizing our products. Among these, ?????? ???????????????have implemented our apps in special education settings (special schools and integrated classes in regular schools). The EDOs will be using it for programs such as basic academic skills support. Our partnership with SeeD, an esteemed group of special education teachers dedicated to researching and advancing digital technologies for education, will include conducting research to enhance personalized digital special education methodologies and establishing sustainable models for digital learning within special education contexts.
