The opportunity to share renewable energy infrastructure with delegates from South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) renewable energy training program, is a highlight for us. Last week we hosted a visit to Pacific Blue's 28 MW Yaloak South Wind Farm, where Entura worked on the electrical balance of plant design. We also toured Enel Green Power Australia's 93 MW Girgarre Solar Farm where we completed due diligence and were Lender's Engineer. "The delegation was impressed by the projects' scale and execution, which makes it easier to put the impact of decarbonisation into context," said Silke Schwartz, Director Water and Renewables at Entura. Renewable Energy Training Update After an intensive theoretical exploration of key renewable energy concepts, participants recently visited the Yaloak South Wind Farm—one of Australia’s significant renewable energy projects. This wind farm, commissioned in 2018 by Pacific Blue Australia, showcases their expertise as one of the nation’s leading developers in the renewable sector. As part of the visit, SARIC’s training partner, Entura, provided participants with an in-depth walkthrough of the electrical balance design of the plant. The highlight of the visit included a visual inspection at the base of a wind turbine, offering delegates valuable insights into the intricacies of wind energy operations. ????♀ The tour continued with a detailed inspection of the substation yard and switchroom, concluding with an engaging Q&A session where delegates had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of renewable energy infrastructure. ?
