As someone who passionately believes in the power of therapy (in its many forms), I couldn't help but laugh at this skit! ?? When ‘doing the work’ means learning new phrases like ‘I don’t have the bandwidth’—definitely hit close to home! Therapy can lead to real change, but the comedy here is a good reminder that it’s the action that counts, not just the lingo. And, hey, if you’re ready to actually see those changes, let's talk about how innovative mental health treatments like ketamine-assisted therapy might be the next step. At Enthea, we're about deep, transformative work that goes beyond the buzzwords! #MentalHealth #EmployeeBenefits #standup #comedy #HasanMinhaj https://lnkd.in/ePFVJheF

In 2023, 58.7 million people (22.8% of adults), experienced mental health challenges and among youths, nearly 1 in 5 who had a major depressive episode also struggled with a substance use disorder. The cost of ignoring mental health is catastrophic and for businesses, the financial toll is significant. When mental health needs go unaddressed, companies can face up to 300% higher healthcare expenses. But beyond the numbers, the real cost lies in the well-being of your team. Employees battling mental health challenges are more likely to experience burnout, decreased productivity & increased absenteeism—all of which impact your business in the long run. And it’s not just about the healthcare costs. When employees feel supported, they’re more motivated, productive, and loyal, allowing them to bring their best selves to work everyday. Prioritizing mental health isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s a strategic move that benefits everyone involved.

Congrats to J&J for another great quarter of Spravato revenue. At this point it is almost certain that Spravato will break $1B in sales for 2024 . Despite the challenging environment for many psychedelic companies and the FDA's rejection of MDMA, the Spravato story suggests that (1) there is still a huge demand for new mental health therapies and (2) psychedelic drugs are a socially and economically viable solution.

I recently had the chance to be the DriveThru HR - Podcast with Michael VanDervort to discuss how Enthea is reshaping mental health benefits through Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT). I shared how KAT is providing rapid, lasting relief for those facing PTSD, depression, and anxiety—sometimes in just hours—while offering a transformative approach to employee well-being. Listen in to learn how KAT is not only helping individuals but also addressing the rising costs of mental health in the workplace: https://lnkd.in/ehWDUdMW

Did you know 25% of employees are unhappy with their work benefits, and 73% don’t fully understand them? …as we face high healthcare costs projected to increase by 9% in 2025, employees seem to be spending less & less on their benefits, inevitably leaving their mental health on a back burner. Nearly 3 out of 4 employees say they’d trade a higher salary for benefits that truly support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. With traditional solutions not cutting it anymore, your people deserve meaningful, lasting support and that’s why we’re committed to making alternative mental health benefits accessible for all. Alternative treatments like Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT), offer hope where conventional approaches have failed—especially for treatment-resistant conditions. The question now is, are you ready to offer comprehensive mental health care benefits that can actually make a difference for your team?

?? Rising health care costs are putting pressure on employers and employees alike. In 2025, employer-sponsored health care costs are expected to jump 9%, surpassing $16,000 per employee. Inflation and costly new medications are pushing these increases. ?? What does this mean for mental health benefits? Employers need to explore more cost-effective, yet impactful solutions. At Enthea, we focus on offering Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT), a transformative treatment that addresses the root causes of mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. This not only improves employee well-being but also provides a sustainable solution to rising healthcare costs. ?? By integrating innovative mental health treatments like KAT into benefits packages, companies can offer higher-value care while mitigating the financial burden of traditional, long-term treatments. https://lnkd.in/eYrUcwuj #MentalHealthMatters #HealthcareInnovation #EmployeeWellbeing

Excited to see the first government-funded psilocybin trial for veterans with PTSD at Baylor College of Medicine! A huge thank you to veterans who led the efforts and to everyone else who supported this important work. With about 80% of Veterans experiencing PTSD symptoms, innovative treatments should be accessible to all and we’re thrilled to see we’re all creating a future where that’s possible. Let's continue to advance the conversation around alternative therapies and mental health innovation.
