The July 2026 compliance deadline for HON MACT Fenceline Monitoring (FLM) may seem distant, but facilities should start FLM pilots now to avoid compliance risks. Why? ? Equipment procurement can take several weeks – high demand and specialized specs mean lead times could delay your timeline. ? Site planning & installation require time – determining sampling locations, training teams, and setting up site access are critical steps. ? More data = better insights – a short pilot program may not capture seasonal variations or emission trends over longer time periods. ?
