Starting With Today was selected to participate in the two-day?Enterprising Ventures of Color (EVC) Leadership Academy?in Washington, D.C. And?transformative?is the only word that comes to mind. What made this leadership rise above the rest is how personal and customized the trainings were. Our individual organizations were well researched before the training, the reading materials were sent out beforehand, and some of the best nonprofit leaders from the region were in the room. On day one, the?David K. Mensah of Wave Training & Consulting?led a surgical, yet delicate executive leadership development training that fundamentally changed how I approach this work in a manner I will never forget. For day two,?Spitfire Strategies?led all things strategy, communications, and storytelling. Huge thank you to wonder woman?Lillian D. Singh?and the entire EVC team for an extraordinary learning space to cultivate our next best selves.

?? At the Baltimore EVC Leadership Academy – 38 nonprofit avengers brought their stories, their challenges, and their whole vulnerable & powerful selves, dressed to the nines, because they're all 10s!

Relentless & Resourceful ????? Enterprising Ventures of Color is a community of leaders sharing resources and building with each other. Too often social impact leaders work towards the same resources without resourcing each other. EVC's inspiring and visionary leadership of Lillian D. Singh has brought a multi-city group together in fellowship with a customized resource-hub. Special note of gratitude to the facilitators and coaches who poured into us this week. There were so many thoughtful gems and practical advice provided.
