The Center for Supply Chain Lehigh (CSCRL) recently concluded its Fall Forum 2024 with resounding success, gathering over 180 attendees. The event aimed to foster learning, networking, and the exchange of best practices under the theme "Innovating for the Future: The Role of Technology in the Supply Chain." Notable speakers at the forum included: - Pete Ruggiero, President and CEO of Crayola, LLC, who delved into "Culture, Supply Chain, and Data Insights at Crayola: Fueling a 'Next Level' Mindset." - Vishwa Ram, Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Penske Logistics, shared insights on "Transforming Operations: How Penske Logistics Uses AI to Enhance Efficiency, Customer Experience, and Insight Generation." - Michael Jocsak, Director of Supply Chain Operations at Air Products, shed light on "Preparing the World for Zero-Emission Hydrogen Trucks." - Mark Ostrowski, Head of Engineering at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., discussed the intersection of AI and cybersecurity in "When AI Meets Cyber Security - Security Implications of the Software Supply Chain." The panelists featured industry experts such as Scott R. Palochik, PETER C. BAYER, JR. Jim Hanselmann, Jessica Marchessault, Kim Whitehead, Associate Professor of Quantitative Management at Anderson University, raised critical questions in her presentation titled "Does Purchasing Always Have the Best Interest of the Firm?"
