??Only two days until the publication of the Commission's much anticipated Clean Industrial Deal and Action Plan on Affordable Energy! ? Now is a good a time as ever to re-emphasise the important role of energy efficiency in promoting European competitiveness, as recognised in the recently published Competitiveness Compass: “Energy-efficient technologies are to a large extent made in Europe, thus providing a competitive edge for the EU economy.”?? ?This acknowledgement must also be reflected in the Clean Industrial Deal!? ?? Beyond representing a large, homegrown sector, energy efficiency can also help industries decarbonise while lowering their costs, thus boosting their competitiveness.? ?? Energy efficiency is also crucial to lower and stabilise energy prices for businesses and citizens, giving it an equally important role in the parallel Action Plan on Affordable Energy.? Energy efficiency is a tool, not a barrier, to achieving this Commission's key priorities, starting with these two initiatives. Now it's time to use it! ???

Boosting energy savings in industry and the service sector by accelerating replacement of old and inefficient electric motors Another project ends with a final event in Brussels (and online): EU-MORE - EUropean MOtor REnovation initiative, is a LIFE Programme project aiming to speed up the replacement of old and inefficient electric motors in industry and the service sector through the development of policy recommendations and an impact analysis tool that can assist Member States in fulfilling their obligations under the Energy Efficiency Directive and in their transition to a circular economy. Join us in interactive conversations about effective policymaking aimed at enhancing energy savings in the industrial and service sectors. ? By educating and consulting consumers on energy-saving tips, Lithuanian energy suppliers are making significant strides towards energy conservation goals. ? ?? Through their educational and consulting initiatives, energy suppliers are not only contributing to national targets but also transforming consumer behavior and raising awareness on how to reduce energy consumption and costs. ?? The Lietuvos Energetikos Agentūra / Lithuanian Energy Agency monitors the implementation of these educational and consulting agreements and analyzes the measures applied by energy suppliers. To further enhance the effectiveness of these initiatives, the Lithuanian Energy Agency, as part of the European LIFE Programme project #ENSMOVPlus , hosted a online seminar for energy suppliers on January 27th!
