Ennovation is education + entrepreneurship. The Ennovation Center in Independence, MO exists to help business grow. We're a not-for-profit business incubator program designed by the Independence EDC and built upon a community of business owners, makers and staff members who are interested in seeing business succeed. We have two areas of focus and expertise: food-based and biz-technologies. The shared commercial kitchen serves early-stage and growing food-based companies, specialty products, food-trucks and catering companies seeking the a certified kitchen in which to develop their product, test their market, and build their business. The biz-tech center offers shared office, dedicated offices, office suites and production suites for light production and assembly. The Ennovation Center houses WerksLab Coworking for early-stage and remote workers seeking an efficient and productive workspace. Above all, our professional services, offered at no cost to the Ennovation Center client, are designed specifically to help a company start, grow, and scale. We work with KC Metro area partners who provide general business development services. For detailed and daily support, business services are customized to fit the need of the Company and the business leadership. First and foremost, it's about getting stuff done. This includes being a connector to good resources, sharing our teams expertise, connecting start-up business owners with those who have been there - in that field, researching and data to help build markets, and then sometimes just getting out of the way so those businesses can just get to work. The Ennovation Center exists to help business grow.

Great news! Today, in collaboration with the Missouri Department of Economic Development, The Ennovation Center hosted 16 Foreign Officers eager to learn about Missouri businesses looking to export to their countries. Our esteemed guests came from Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Ireland, Mexico, North Korea, Otsawana, the UK, and South Korea. They were particularly interested in how the city of Independence, the Independence School District, and the Economic Development Council of Independence joined forces to create our incubator, driving innovation in our city.
