We have an enthusiastic group of aspiring high school students with interest in the AEC professions as well as a team of experts from LERA Consulting Structural Engineers, AKF Group, Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, and Hunter Roberts Construction Group. Thanks to the Nicholas Jeffway, Peter Broughton, Laura Rodriguez, and Sanah Mengi for leading this effort .

Stanford University Sarafan ChEM-H (Chemistry, Engineering & Medicine for Human Health) and the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute buildings allow groundbreaking research in biochemistry and neuroscience to converge in a single facility, drawing together a wide range of disciplines, including quantitative sciences, chemistry, molecular biology, genetics, psychology, bioengineering and the social sciences. This interdisciplinary research complex is designed to serve as both a magnet for campus research and life, and as a gateway between the School of Medicine to the north and the Science and Engineering quad to the south. We're celebrating the opening of Inova Health Center – Oakville in Alexandria, Virginia. Supporting the redevelopment of Alexandria’s Oakville Triangle neighborhood and introducing a significant new healthcare resource to the community. Inova Health Center – Oakville is the first of a multi-campus initiative aimed at establishing a new physical identity, operational standard, and patient experience for the health system. Lead Computational Design Specialist, Colin Matthews, recently attended both the Rhino Developer Meeting in Copenhagen, organized by McNeel Europe, and the Rhino User Meeting in Berlin, organized by Priedemann Facade Experts / Facade-Lab. In Copenhagen, the focus was on AI and automation for complex 3D modeling; In Berlin, new advancements in computational design within the AEC industry, including innovative methods for measuring and tracking embodied carbon. Our team looks forward to integrating these insights into our workflow to create designs that are more impactful and sustainable than ever. ?
