Enhanced Community Development, a subsidiary of Enhanced Capital, announced that it has been awarded $65 million in New Markets Tax Credits (#NMTC) allocation. This award marks the tenth time Enhanced Community Development has been awarded federal New Markets Tax Credits for a total of $495 million in federal NMTC allocation since 2006. "The New Markets Tax Credit Program is vital to building resilient and vibrant communities,” said Catherine Blume, Vice President at Enhanced Capital. “With this allocation, we can help bring capital to underserved areas, create jobs, and improve quality of life by supporting vital projects." We're pleased to announce that Enhanced Capital has provided financing for the Elko Community Health Center, a vital healthcare infrastructure project in Elko, NV. Developed by Community Health Development Partners, this state-of-the-art campus will bring essential healthcare services to an underserved, rural community. Thanks to our federal New Markets Tax Credit (#NMTC) allocation, the Elko Community Health Center is expanding its services, including the addition of a mental health clinic, women’s health center, cancer treatment center, and more. This expansion is set to create 88 new quality jobs and retain 38 existing jobs while providing critical care to over 500 local cancer patients who would otherwise have to travel hundreds of miles.
