Enhanced Community Development, a subsidiary of Enhanced Capital, has closed $30 million in Louisiana New Markets Tax Credit (#NMTC) allocation! This allocation will help drive economic growth and support transformative projects in underserved areas across Louisiana. We are pleased to help finance six impactful projects with this allocation, including: St. Thomas Community Health Center – Providing high-quality healthcare to underserved communities. Louisiana Avenue Firehouse – Revitalizing a historic firehouse to create affordable housing and a childcare facility. Wilcox Academy – Expanding an early childhood education facility that serves low-income families and communities of color. "Louisiana is home to one of Enhanced Capital’s two headquarters, and we are proud to support the local communities that we are deeply connected to,” said Catherine Blume, Vice President at Enhanced Capital.
