Being polite in English is not just about using specific words and phrases, it's also about using the right grammar. Here are a few top grammar constructions used by native speakers to sound more polite: 1. Let me + verb = used to politely inform the other person about the action you're going to take. This phrase is a much more polite alternative to "I will (do something)." ? I will share my screen now. ? Let me share my screen with you. 2. I'm going to + verb = used in a similar way when you want to inform the other person about your immediate plans. → Hold on a second. I'm going to check this information and get back to you. 3. Would you mind + gerund = used for polite requests. →Would you mind explaining this part again?

  • The reality is that improving English as a foreign language has always been secondary. Work and family always come first. Self-development doesn't. Quick English tip ? I will do it with pleasure? Don't say this! The phrase "with pleasure" is rarely used in English and sounds unnatural in most contexts. Instead, use the following alternatives: 1?? I am happy to / I will be happy to... ?Thanks for inviting me. I'm happy to be here. ? Can you give me some feedback on my presentation? ? Sure! I will be happy to do that! 2?? I would love to... ? I would love to take part in your event. It looks really exciting! 3?? I'm excited about / I'm excited to... ?I'm excited about starting this project. ? I'm excited to meet my new team. Share this tip with your team if you found it useful! #englishtips #businessenglish #englishforit #english
