EPS JURY TRIAL WIN: The EPS Civil/Subro team prevailed after a 10 day jury Trial in Sacramento county Superior Court. EPS pursued the employer/carrier's subrogation interests in this third party work place injury case. Defendant denied fault, and the worker settled with the Defendant right before closing argument. EPS Trial attorney Max Anikstein continued on and obtained the liability finding against the Defendant in the bifurcated Trial. EPS at the 9th Circuit: Barry Ponticello made another appearance at the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, this time arguing a matter under 33 U.S.C. 928, at the 9th Circuit's San Francisco location.
