What's up y'all!, I did a quick poll and it seemed like a lot of you were interested doing more research. so.... here it is! I'm super happy to announce that we've collaborated with our partner server the Youth Empowerment Society (YES) to host a workshop! (yes, it is research in case you haven't guessed by now) ???? ?? ?? How to WRITE & PUBLISH your OWN RESEARCH PAPER ?? ?? This will be hosted on SATURDAY (NOV. 16) at 4 PM PST so MARK YOUR CALENDARS and tell ALL your friends!! You'll be walked through the academic writing process, tips & tricks, how to find good papers, and so much more! You'll be able to hear from highschoolers who have done research at NYU, Scripps Institute (one of the largest & leading research institutions), local wet-labs, and more! It's great to see Elijah Powell helping other students, in and out of Engineering Pivot! If you don't know already, Elijah is the head of our biomedical engineering committee, and he's been doing AWESOME at his job! His passion for educating people has kept growing though, and recently he has lead a skill workshop at Koi in front of 30+ people! It's always inspiring to see our staff go above and beyond in their passions, helping students everywhere! Awesome work Elijah! P.S: Interested in locking in for your passions? Fundraising? Events? I am happy to announce that I have been accepted into the IYRC STEM Stanford Winter Program, with full financial aid! I will be participating in this program from the end of November 2024 to early January 2025. I am glad to be part of this new and exciting program that I believe will further deepen my knowledge in researching about the STEM field. As part of the program , I will have the unique opportunity to explore various STEM fields, including?Biology, Chemistry, Environmental science, Computer scince and Aerospace. This program will be guided by distinguished researchers and students from Stanford University. The program also includes dozens of office hours with graduate students such as medical and dental students at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S).
