Pancake style load cell getting ready for deburring. Material 17-4 SST annealed. Where do you guys draw the line on whether you are forming or cutting a thread? Let’s exclude plastic and hardened steel for this question.

Keyence was kind enough to show us a demo of the IM-8000 inspection camera. We were able to inspect the part within seconds. Of course I had to grab my micrometers and try to find any mistakes but it was dead on! 100% part inspections don’t sound so bad now.

Rod end load cell element made out of 17-4 SST. For the next step my customer will heat treat this and then it's ready for some strain gages and calibration
