关于我们
Engage3 provides the industry's most complete view of competitive pricing and optimizes our customers' Price Image so they can profitably grow revenue and drive trips. We help retailers and brands enhance their pricing performance through data science and analytics. We work with grocery, drug, pet, mass, sporting goods, and e-commerce retailers around the world to provide localized competitive intelligence, understand their competitors' pricing & assortment strategies, and execute more effective pricing strategies through a combination of big data, predictive analytics, and cloud-based solutions. We serve 8 of the top 10 largest retailers in the world and 9 of the top 10 largest convenience retailers in the US & Canada. We have been recognized by Business Insider as a Power Player Changing the Game in Retail Pricing & Analytics, have been recognized by leading independent analyst and advisory firm, IDC, as the "leader" in the price optimization space, and on Inc. Magazine's Top 5000 fastest growing private companies in the US for the 9th year in a row as of 2024. It is estimated that fewer than 50 companies have ever been recognized for 7 consecutive years. This recognition comes on the heels of our $35 million Series C financing from retail technology-focused venture capitalists. Our Founders are serial entrepreneurs - their first company, KhiMetrics, is credited with creating the retail price optimization industry and was ultimately acquired by SAP in 2006. Now we're targeting a larger opportunity on our vision to bring human values into the pricing equation via personalized pricing, health, and wellness.

Last week, at Engage3 powered by Dexi we tackled Google's 5-Day #GenAI Intensive course on #Kaggle. We didn't just take the course; we built a cross-functional learning community. Data scientists, engineers (software, data, QA), UI/UX designers – we all came together daily to dissect the material, share insights, and brainstorm how to improve our current GenAI projects. Each day involved reviewing Python notebooks, podcasts, and white papers covering: Prompt Engineering Embeddings & Vector Databases Generative AI Agents Domain-Specific LLMs MLOps for Generative AI I loved our collaborative spirit and the fact that we're already planning follow-up sessions to continue pushing our GenAI initiatives across departments. It was a great experience to hold a booth for Engage3 powered by Dexi as a proud partner of the Innovation Institute for Food & Health, UC Davis at the 2024 Partner Summit. While other booths offered delicious, tech-powered treats, we offered a different kind of "sweetness": the power of AI personalized pricing for shopping choices that are aligned with shopper values like health. Chronic diseases are rising, and healthcare spending is skyrocketing. (US alone: $3.1 trillion/year!) What if pricing influenced shoppers to choose nutritious options, aligned with their health goals? By integrating product attributes aligned with shopper health goals into our price optimization function and redefining Price Image, we are pioneering a "Food As Medicine" approach for retailers. Our vision is a "Shopper Value Equation" where price reflects not only quality and service but also shopper values and nutritional benefits. This fosters a competitive landscape that encourages retailers to offer healthier options. Imagine shopping with an AI "agent" that guides you towards healthy, budget-friendly choices based on your preferences. This is the future we're building at Engage3. It was so wonderful to close the exhibition by connecting with Engage3's leaders and Investors, Tim Ouimet, Edris Bemanian, Christopher Lai, and Tom Andriola, and exchange some amazing ideas about the future of retail! To learn more about our vision, check out this insightful article by Engage3 co-founder Tim Ouimet on the future of AI-based shopping agents:?https://lnkd.in/gVh2hj9r #FoodAsMedicine #PersonalizedPricing #PriceImage #RetailInnovation #HealthierChoices?

The Innovation Institute for Food & Health, UC Davis continues to level up every year. The Partner Summit continues to exceed expectations. Yesterday, Abigail Stevenson (Mars) kicked things off with a call to action: "We are the first generation that can't say 'we didn't know' about health, social, and environmental challenges. As long as I've been in the Davis ecosystem, it was my first time learning that Mars has 2 of their 5 science centers located here. Justin Siegel introduced the ecosystem and the power of uncommon connections and collaboration. We (Engage3 powered by Dexi) are proud to be a part of this ecosystem alongside innovative company's such as Digestiva, PIPA - Process Integration & Predictive Analytics, Rivalz?, The March Group, and many more (see photo). Session 1: 'Transformational Innovation in the Food Industry: What has changed since 2015?' brought together Kim Fisher, Harold Schmitz, Rao Unnava, and Justin Siegel, who covered a large range of topics including the Periodic Table of Food initiative, which will help us answer questions like "What are we actually eating? What are the nutritional gaps?" Other topics included the role of the CEO in Innovation and resource allocation that I'll admit were eye opening. Session 2: 'Harnessing the Potential of GLP-1 Transforming Marketplaces' included a keynote by Christian Brix Tillegreen of the BioInnovation Institute at the Novo Nordisk Foundation, who shared insights and data re: the rise of GLP-1 and its ripple effects on the food and health industries. The panelists (Harold, Heather Leidy of The University of Texas at Austin, John Melo of Digestiva, and Victor E. Friedberg of New Epoch Capital) discussed topics such as: - How do we minimize muscle loss? - If the goal is to preserve as much muscle mass as possible, what behavioral changes need to accompany products like GLP-1? - How much protein should you have per occasion? This varies from person to person, so how do we personalize? - Behavioral strategy should account for (1) Diet Quality; (2) Life Stage Transitions; (3) Quality; (4) Timing; (5) Synergies; (6) Quantity "The data shows that 50% of consumers with obesity get off of [GLP-1]. This is why we need a behavioral strategy." To those that made it this far: thanks for reading. We're thrilled to share the success of our summer internship program with UC Irvine. Isha Manish Patel and Sai Sandeep M, talented interns in our #PriceImageManagement team, made a considerable impact on our product development at Engage3 powered by Dexi. Their projects, including the creation of #GenAI chatbots for Product Assistants and Sales Assistants, #automation of demand forecasting reports, and #scalability assessment of our data science pipeline, will directly benefit our clients and enhance our sales team's capabilities. As we continue to pioneer personalized pricing optimization and grow our customer base, their work is instrumental in scaling the pipeline and improving the product’s ease of use for customers. Beyond their impressive technical skills, Isha and Sai expressed the invaluable soft skills they acquired through the internship, including communication, collaboration, documentation, and presentation. These skills are essential for success in today's competitive tech industry. We extend our gratitude to Tom Andriola for his extensive support, and to Shiva Salsabilian and Mohammad Hajimirsadeghi for their continued mentorship and guidance throughout the program. A special thanks also goes to Tim Ouimet and Anup Doshi for their encouragement and advice. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with UC Irvine and nurturing the next generation of tech talent.
