This week, Erin had the incredible honor of being a distinguished speaker on the “Empowering Women in the Architecture Profession” panel at BGSU. It was an insightful discussion about the challenges and successes of women in a traditionally male-dominated field, emphasizing the importance of mentorship, leadership, and community in shaping the future of architecture. The day was filled with impactful moments, starting with the AIA Ohio Board meeting, followed by the AIA Ohio Foundation check presentation to AIAS and NOMAS, and concluding with a facility tour and exhibition presentation. These events highlighted the strength of collaboration and support within the architectural community. A huge thank you to Bowling Green State University, AIA Ohio, and AIA Toledo Chapter for fostering these important conversations.
