We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) for their generous donation of materials to support our Lineman Apprenticeship Program in the Southeast. Thanks to their contribution, we acquired ten brand-new 35’ poles from their Immokalee, FL warehouse—an incredible addition that will enhance our apprentices' training experience. A special shoutout to North Ft. Myers Operations Manager, Victor Harrell, for coordinating this donation. We truly appreciate LCEC’s support in helping us train the next generation of skilled linemen and build the future of the industry! #LinemanTraining #MasTec

We asked Sandra Medina: "What advice would you give to women considering a career in construction?" "Although the construction industry has traditionally been male-dominated, I want to encourage more women to explore careers in this field. We, as women, bring invaluable qualities such as tenacity, commitment, resilience, and hard work, along with the love and passion we pour into everything we do. These attributes can have a significant and positive impact on the construction industry. By applying our skills and perspectives, we can contribute to making the industry safer, more innovative, and more profitable—ultimately benefiting our companies, customers, families, and the industry as a whole." #WomensHistoryMonth #WIC

This Sunday, March 9, most people in the U.S. will move their clocks forward one hour. Switching to Daylight Savings Time brings the benefit of more sunshine each day but the loss of an hour of sleep. Here are a few ways to mitigate fatigue and stay alert to prevent injuries: ? Set your clocks to spring forward early Saturday evening and go to sleep at your “regular” bedtime. ? Continue to stick to your usual bedtime, especially the night before you return to work. ? Avoid electronic screens and dim the lights 30 minutes before you plan to go to bed. ? Give yourself some extra time in the morning for your commute. ? If you are driving, bring your sunglasses along for the ride. ? Take care of your teammates. If someone appears fatigued, encourage them to stop their task and take a break. #MasTecPowerDeliveryCompanies #OneVisionZeroHarm

You may not always have the same level of experience as others in the field, but your perspective is valuable, and fresh ideas can lead to innovative solutions. Confidence, curiosity, and a willingness to learn will take you far—speak up, ask questions, and trust that your contributions matter." #WomenInConstruction #WIC2025
