Round 2 allocated roughly $2.5 billion to approximately 50 projects located in § 48C #EnergyCommunities, totaling $4 billion allocated to projects in these communities across both rounds.
?? DOE Manufacturing & Energy Supply Chains Office (MESC) Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Department of the Treasury are supercharging America’s energy manufacturing! Today, we’re announcing $6B in allocations for the second round of the Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Tax Credit (§ 48C Program) funded through the Inflation Reduction Act. The second round of tax credits will support over 140 projects across more than 30 states that manufacture critical energy products, materials and minerals, or reduce GHG emissions.
