Join us on our newly re-branded Brain Regen Podcast for Episode 198 where I talk with Larry Yatch about the the role of trauma as the cause of neurodegeneration. Watch, Listen or Read: https://lnkd.in/g3sHkXyd In this episode you will learn that: * Trauma is not just about experiencing a major traumatic event, but can also come from smaller experiences where our sense of control or safety was threatened, even as a child. * Trauma leads to subconscious "untruths" or patterns of thinking and behavior that we use to try to stay safe, even when those patterns no longer serve us. This can happen even in highly successful people. * Signs of unresolved trauma include feeling like you're not quite where you should be, a lack of fulfillment despite accomplishments, and a sense of disconnection or isolation. * It is better to Focus on identifying and reprogramming the subconscious trauma-based patterns and behaviors, rather than just addressing the emotional charge of the traumatic experience itself. * Resolving trauma can lead to greater alignment between our conscious and subconscious minds, allowing us to perform better and feel more fulfillment and connection. * No matter how bad things may seem, we are never truly disconnected from the source/God/the universe, and have the power to choose to change our patterns and experience more love and connection. About Larry Yatch: Larry Yatch is a retired Navy SEAL Officer, and a brilliant mind with a revolutionary ability to distill complex concepts into simple, precise and actionable behaviors that create major impact. Join us on our newly re-branded Brain Regen Podcast for Episode 197 where I explore cellular anti-inflammation, longevity, and optimum health. The prime number one key to remaining disease-free! Watch, Listen or Read: https://lnkd.in/gMEDcJHv In this episode, you'll learn about: * The importance of consuming organic, unprocessed seed oils (parent omega-6 and parent omega-3 fatty acids) rather than processed, adulterated seed oils which can be toxic. * The role of parent essential fatty acids as the "brick and mortar" of cell membranes, and the need to maintain the proper balance and ratios of these fatty acids. * The impairment of the delta-6 desaturase metabolic pathway in many inflammatory diseases, and how this can be nutritionally compensated for. * The anti-inflammatory power of PGE1 (prostaglandin E1) and how it is the most important anti-inflammatory compound, yet is often overlooked. * The dangers of excessive consumption of fish oil supplements, which can lead to an overdose compared to the brain's actual needs for DHA and EPA. * The importance of oxygen utilization at the cellular level and how the parent essential oils help optimize cellular oxygenation. * The connection between poor lipid profiles, inflammation, and the development of diseases like cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, and more. * Practical tips on obtaining high-quality, organic seed oils and how to optimize one's EFA balance through supplementation. About Brian Peskin: Brian Peskin is a world-leading scientist specializing in parent EFAs termed PEOs. While advancing the scientific understanding of the role of essential fatty acids in the body's metabolic pathways, he has also advanced the discoveries of Nobel Prize winner, Otto Warburg, MD PhD to increase cellular oxygenation.
