Energy Fuels is the only company with both conventional and ISR uranium production in the U.S.

关于我们

Energy Fuels (NYSE MKT UUUU | TSX:EFR) is a leading, US-based, integrated producer of uranium – the fuel for carbon-free, emission-free nuclear energy. Our uranium production portfolio is unique in the World today. Nuclear energy is expected to see strong growth in the coming years, as nations around the World work to provide plentiful and affordable energy, while combating global climate change and air pollution. We utilize both conventional and in-situ recovery (“ISR”) technology and produce uranium from two strategic facilities – the White Mesa Mill in Utah (conventional) and the Nichols Ranch Plant in Wyoming (ISR). Our portfolio also boasts a book of premium-priced sales contracts with major nuclear utilities, an industry-leading U.S.-based NI 43-101 Mineral Resource portfolio among producers, and a pipeline of high-quality, large-scale development and exploration projects. As uranium prices increase, Energy Fuels has the resources and processing capacity to significantly increase uranium production in the U.S. Energy Fuels is also a potential producer of vanadium, as a co-product along with uranium at some of its mines. We have significant high-grade vanadium resources, along with a separate, high-purity vanadium production circuit at the White Mesa Mill. There is a growing potential to use vanadium in the next generation of advanced battery technologies. Energy Fuels is poised to capitalize on this potential opportunity.

  • After months of productive discussions between Energy Fuels and the Navajo Nation, uranium ore transport from the Pinyon Plain Mine in Arizona to the White Mesa Mill resumed last week following the signing of a landmark agreement between the Company and the Tribe. A key part of the agreement is Energy Fuels’ commitment to begin assisting in the cleanup of decades-old abandoned uranium mines on the Navajo Nation leftover from government programs that began in the 1940s. To be clear, Energy Fuels had nothing to do with those old mines. The Denver Gazette report authored by Scott Weiser details the growing goodwill between Energy Fuels and the Navajo Nation and the desire for both Tribes and Industry to heal from this sad history of bygone uranium mining activities in a safe and healthy manner. ? Curtis H. Moore, SVP, reinforces that USDOT regulations on the transport of uranium ore (which is classified as “low specific activity” material, the lowest level of radioactive material hauled on US roads, interstates and highways), are already very strict and highly protective of human health and the environment. In addition, Energy Fuels has its own strict safety protocol, as it has transported thousands of truckloads of ore across the region for decades with no spills or other negative impacts on communities. The agreement with the Navajo Nation takes these measures even further. It is no exaggeration to state that this ore transport is the safest in the world – by far. ? The Company recognizes the impact past government programs have had on Navajo and Native American people. We are encouraged by these first tentative steps toward working collaboratively with the Navajo Nation on future cleanups while making ore transport safer than it’s ever been. ? • Last week, Energy Fuels Inc CEO, Mark Chalmers, and SVP, Curtis H. Moore engaged with members of the Colorado legislature who wanted to learn and understand about all-things nuclear. As a Colorado-based company, having the opportunity to discuss the nuclear fuel cycle, the critical role of #Uranium Mining, and #rareearths will help our elected representatives communicate with their constituents and drive smart energy policy. The resources Energy Fuels produces are essential for energy security, innovation, and economic growth. Thank you to the Colorado Legislators for their time and thoughtful conversation and to Senator Larry Liston for the introduction to the bipartisan Colorado Nuclear Caucus. $UUUU

We have entered into a landmark agreement with the Navajo Nation, the largest indigenous tribe in the U.S., that will help govern the safe transport of uranium ore over state and federal highways from our Pinyon Plain Mine in Northern Arizona to our White Mesa Mill in Southeast Utah. The transport of materials is expected to resume in February 2025. Ore transport is already heavily regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This agreement details additional layers of protection and accommodation for the Navajo in recognition of the tragic impact of past uranium activities on their land. Our ore transport will set a new global standard for safety and environmental protection. This agreement results from months of productive, good-faith dialogue between Energy Fuels and the Navajo Nation. It reflects a shared acknowledgment of the longstanding impacts of Cold War-era uranium mining while affirming our commitment to going above and beyond state and federal requirements to ensure the safe, respectful transport of natural uranium ore. We have also committed to accepting and transporting, at no cost to the Navajo Nation, up to 10,000 tons of uranium-bearing cleanup materials from abandoned uranium mines on their land, which are unfortunate relics of old U.S. government uranium programs that began in the 1940s, in which Energy Fuels had no involvement, but we’ve held steadfast in our desire to help in the cleanup. It is our sincere hope that this is the first step toward building a long and productive, mutually beneficial relationship with the Navajo Nation.?Now, it is time to live up to our promises. Watch this video about how a small uranium mine in Northern Arizona is making a big impact in providing the domestically sourced uranium needed for safe, clean and reliable nuclear energy. https://lnkd.in/g-667tUE

President Trump signed several Executive Orders on Monday that are directly applicable to Energy Fuels, encouraging and accelerating domestic energy and critical minerals production. His Executive Order #14154, "Unleashing American Energy" prioritizes domestic mining and the processing of critical minerals, including rare earths to establish the U.S. as a leading producer, creating jobs and supporting?local economies throughout?the nation. Read Executive Order #14154 here: https://lnkd.in/e-rnpGVX His Executive Order #14159, "Declaring a National Energy Emergency" will open the door for the safe and responsible mining and processing of critical minerals, including the uranium, rare earths, and vanadium materials we produce at Energy Fuels. This will ensure a reliable and affordable supply of energy for the U.S., supporting companies like Energy Fuels, while reducing dependence on foreign suppliers. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Mr. Speaker! In his opening day remarks, House Speaker Mike Schultz addressed the Utah legislature and highlighted the role White Mesa Mill plays in reducing America’s reliance on foreign resources. As the Speaker said, “it’s all happening right here, in Utah’s backyard. What’s happening at White Mesa Mill isn’t just about innovation. It’s about independence.” $UUUU #WMM https://lnkd.in/grh2Xuqe
