Thanks to the fruitful partnership of Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation with the Ukrainian World Congress, 4 more schools and about 3000 children will study in solar schools ?? The agreement was signed in June 2024 during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 (URC2024) in partnership with the Ukrainian World Congress as part of their Energize Ukraine initiative. Within the framework of this cooperation, solar power plants will be installed for four schools in Ukraine this fall. ?? Pryluky gymnasium No. 1 named after Heorhii Voronyi ?? Bobrytskyi lyceum ?? Nemishayiv Lyceum No. 2? ?? Academic Lyceum "Intellect" All of these schools will be equipped with hybrid solar power plants with storage systems that accumulate energy and guarantee a stable energy supply in the face of a constant threat to the Ukrainian energy system. This will also contribute to the environmental education of the younger generation and the development of their consciousness of environmental preservation. The Ukrainian World Congress is an international non-governmental organization that coordinates the activities of Ukrainian communities in the diaspora and represents the interests of more than 20 million Ukrainians in more than 80 countries. Energize Ukraine is an initiative of the UWC with the primary goal of assisting the Ukrainian energy system that has been damaged during the russian aggression.?

Energize Ukraine is a global initiative to help the Ukrainian people rebuild their energy infrastructure OVER 40% OF UKRAINE’S ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE IS DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF TARGETTED SHELLINGS. Average citizens are without electricity, heat, and water. Seniors are trapped in their apartments as elevators are not operational. People will die if we do not help Ukraine immediately rebuild its electricity infrastructure. The Ukrainian World Congress is working with the Government of Ukraine to secure and deliver equipment most needed to rebuild their critical infrastructure. Ukraine is facing almost daily bombings and cruise missile attacks by russia, mainly targeting electricity infrastructure. Many parts of Ukraine are in the dark and others face rolling blackouts. While Ukrainian power companies will be challenged over the medium to long term to reconfigure their electricity system, their current needs are immediate and extremely urgent: under constant threats of missile attacks, they must pull available resources together to provide power to the population. We are urgently seeking assistance to source critical equipment.
