Pop culture icon, talk show host, author, filmmaker, and all-around amazing person Ricki Lake is coming to End Well 2024! She’ll be taking the stage with death doula and author Alua Arthur to discuss everything from birth to death, and how the twin strands of grief and joy form the backbone of our lives. Ricki sprang into the cultural imagination in 1988 in her role as Tracy Turnblad in John Waters’?beloved film Hairspray and went on to appear in many other groundbreaking film and television roles. At the impressive age of twenty-four, Ricki became?the youngest talk show host in history. ?She won an Emmy for Best Talk Show Host for her work on the reboot of The Ricki Lake Show and now hosts the podcast “The High Life with Ricki Lake,” which debuted at the top of its category and continues to enjoy massive success.
