At Endeavors’ Wellness Center, we go beyond fitness—we provide a safe, supportive space for individuals facing life’s toughest challenges. When Guillermo transitioned out of the military, he struggled to find direction and purpose. After experiencing a difficult transition and navigating civilian life, he was introduced to our Wellness Center in San Antonio, where he found the resources, community, and mental health support he needed to rebuild his life. Today, he is thriving. ?? No one should have to navigate these challenges alone. If you or someone you know is a veteran, first responder, or family member in need of support, we are here to help. ?? In July 2022, heavy storms dropped up to 9 inches of rain in just hours, causing severe flash flooding along I-70 in Missouri and I-64 in Illinois. ?? In response, Endeavors stepped up to help hard-hit communities in St. Clair County, Illinois. With support from the Lowe's Companies, Inc. Reconstruction Grant through National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, we provided essential home repairs to those affected by flooding, strong winds, and fallen trees. One of our clients, a 65-year-old woman, was recovering from storm damage. She had used her savings for repairs but still needed skirting around her home, front step repairs, and new back steps after floodwaters left them rotted. With this funding, we were able to help fully restore her home and and help her regain a sense of stability after the disaster. ?? Thanks to the Lowe’s Reconstruction Grant, our clients affected by this disaster are finally on the path to full recovery. Their homes are now safe, secure, and livable again—giving them not just a place to stay, but peace of mind. ?? We’re truly honored to be part of their journey and remain dedicated to helping those impacted by disasters rebuild their lives. ??

Strength isn’t just about what you can endure—it’s about having the courage to seek support and build something beautiful from life’s toughest moments. ?? We are honored to serve incredible clients like Sequoyia, a veteran whose resilience, bravery, and determination led her to not just ask for help but to create a life full of hope and purpose. Every year, approximately 200,000 men and women leave U.S. military service and return to life as civilians. That first year after separation is often called "the deadly gap" because it's when service members are most at-risk for suicidal thoughts and behaviors. But your support could make all the difference. ???? The new Endeavors Transition Support Program matches individuals who are leaving active-duty service and transitioning to civilian life with volunteers to offer support. It takes about two hours a month -- and the impact for veterans, their families, and their communities can be incredible. ?? The program is open in cities across Texas, and you don't need to be a veteran to volunteer! Interested in learning how you can build a connection that has a lasting impact? Apply here, or share this post with someone who might be interested! ?? https://bit.ly/4bz9MCt

?? Your mental and behavioral health matter. That’s why we’ve expanded our veteran services to include in-person & virtual Behavioral Health care. While mental health focuses on emotional well-being, behavioral health therapy helps veterans change habits, build healthy relationships, and improve coping skills. It’s effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, addictions, and more. ?? ?? Last year, we helped 200+ veterans diagnosed with PTSD & Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Nearly 70% of sessions were virtual, allowing us to support veterans in rural areas and therapy deserts. ?? Need support? Learn more about our services at https://bit.ly/3KI5x8V

We want to give a shoutout to all of our team members who participated in the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count this year! This annual effort helps track the number of people experiencing homelessness in a single night, providing crucial data to improve housing and support services. Our Endeavors team, alongside local agencies, braved the early morning cold to not only count but also gather demographic info and connect individuals with resources. This data helps shape solutions for veterans, families, youth, and those facing chronic homelessness. ?? ?? Your dedication makes a real difference—thank you for helping Texas communities in need! ??
