???? We’re still on a high from our time at the Dave & Buster's Inc. event a few days ago. So, we thought we’d share how we’ve helped our friends at the national restaurant and entertainment chain. ?? Dave & Buster’s was seeking a low-cost solution that would not require heavy day-to-day support from its lean facility operations team. Deploying Encycle’s Swarm Logic cloud-based HVAC optimization technology, we were able to help Dave & Busters achieve: ??Energy cost savings of $1,236,460 ?? Reduced HVAC electric consumption of 7,430,000 kWh ?? Lowered peak electric demand of 135,750 kW ?? 2024 saw Encycle take home the Silver Stevie Award for Energy Innovation of the Year. We were positively overwhelmed by the incredible feedback we received from the judges. A few members from Encycle attended Dave & Buster's Inc. #GiveBack Event, on Feb 28. This event was open to all vendors and employees. ??It was such a great activity in support of a wonderful initiative, and we wanted to share a little more about it. Words from our Customer Support Specialist, Will Issa… ?? Each table was given a bare skate deck, helmet and art supplies and told to decorate with various inspiring themes. We were not told what this was for, so I’m sure most assumed it to be a very creative team building event. Around 100 skateboards were built in about 45 minutes. ???? We were then informed that the completed skateboards were to be donated to the local non-profit EXPOSURE Skate, a women’s benefit movement. These will be given to young girls from at-risk communities, as part of their support of social and emotional development, inclusion, leadership, service and college scholarship opportunities. ?Included with the skateboard and helmet with a large card, filled with words of inspiration from those of us on the teams. One team even taped Dave and Buster gift cards to their lucky recipient! “Exposure 2012 was inspired by the Underexposed documentary, created by Exposure co-founder and Olympian Amelia Brodka, which highlighted the lack of opportunity for female skateboarders.” and “The need to create space was crucial for both professional and amateur female, trans and nonbinary skateboarders, as well as those looking to be introduced to skateboarding.” To learn more about Exposure Skate, head to: https://exposureskate.org ????
