Dear EWAAB Community, ? Yesterday we grieved. We had a vision for a promising future that didn’t come to fruition, so we grieved. We took a moment to check in on ourselves and our loved ones, we found comfort in food or exercise or friends; we just took the day. ? That was yesterday. ? Today, we get back to work. Our mission, no matter what the world looks like, is to provide the next generation of young women and non-binary students with access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. ? Today, we reaffirm our commitment to this community. We promise to use positive encouragement to build both personal and professional confidence. We promise to provide equitable access to programs and resources. We promise to build a welcoming and inclusive community for all. ? We are ready to push forward even when it feels like the world is taking a step back. Let's get to work. Sam Collins Chief Executive Officer

Last Friday marked the end of an incredible journey as an intern at GoldenTree Asset Management. Over these 10 weeks, I gained invaluable insights, not only into the responsibilities of my role but also into the company and the industry as a whole. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Jacqueline Jacobi for mentoring me throughout this experience. Your guidance was instrumental in helping me grow and learn. A special shoutout to Matthew Amster and Paige Ebner for your unwavering support—your help and guidance made a significant impact on my time at GoldenTree. Special thanks to EWAAB for this opportunity as well as a wonderful program. I’m excited to go into the fall as a mentor! Also, thank you to Georgia Pennington for supporting me as a non-male in tech and the interns I was with throughout this whole process, it’s been a pleasure working with you all! I’m excited to take these experiences and apply them to my future endeavors. Thank you, GoldenTree, for the opportunity to learn and grow in such a dynamic environment! #internship #ewaab #goldentree

We see a world where young women and non-binary folks can confidently apply for opportunities they are excited about. Where they can persist in fields they are passionate about whether it’s engineering, finance, fashion or history. Where they can exceed expectations and rise to leadership roles. Can you see it? Are you ready to make it a reality? Each year we support undergraduate students as they work hard to develop their professional skills and grow their confidence. Through our core mentorship program Bridge and our alumni program Beyond these future professionals build a strong support network, develop foundational skills and gain access to unique professional opportunities. Help us continue to provide this impactful support by sponsoring a student for the 2024-2025 academic year. By sponsoring a student you will not only support them on their journey, you will follow along to see exactly how we are developing skills and building confidence. Join us this year and see the future of the workforce. "EWAAB is one of the best things I could’ve accomplished for myself. I stepped out of my comfort zone countless of times as a mentee and mentor. My soft skills & public speaking skills improved a lot! EWAAB made me more confident and fearless." Meet Lotus Uong, who recently graduated from McGill University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She started her mentorship journey at EWAAB in 2020 as a mentee and continued as a Primary Mentor in 2021. "I’ve networked and worked with women/non-binary students from Caltech University, Oxford, Texas A&M, McGill & CEOs. I am currently a chief assistant at a newly opened pediatric clinic, working alongside incredible women physicians. And, one day, I’ll be a doctor too! "
