Whole Person Care Clinic, in collaboration with Encompass Housing, is proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant of $574,834.54 from the Imperial County Department of Social Services in partnership with the Imperial Valley Continuum of Care Council. These funds will support their Pathways to Stable Home and Health Program, providing vital services to the most vulnerable populations in Imperial County. We know that real change happens through strong partnerships. By working alongside each other, County of Imperial, and other community organizations, we are expanding our reach and our ability to serve individuals experiencing homelessness. The newly renovated Hatfield Wing is officially open, providing a safe and supportive space for healing, job prep, activities, and more. ???? Dear Encompass Housing Team, My name is Gabriela, and I am writing this letter to express my deepest gratitude to Encompass Housing for taking the time to help my family and me find a home. I want to especially acknowledge {my Housing Navigator} Ariana, who has been incredibly attentive to my needs. Her communication has been excellent, and I cannot find the words to fully express my appreciation for her. Ariana has earned my trust, and what stands out most about her is her kindness and charisma. Her support in finding a home has truly changed my life for the better. She works closely with clients to assess their needs, overcome barriers, and provide ongoing support—ensuring that housing stability isn’t just achieved but sustained. ?? “One thing I love about being part of the Encompass housing team is how we work together to help individuals and families better the quality of their lives.” ?? Meet Gabriela, a resilient single mom who refused to let life's challenges hold her back. After her marriage ended she faced harassment and homelessness, but leaned on her inner strength and the kindness of a friend to start rebuilding her life. She found a job and sought support for her daughter, who was diagnosed with autism. ?? Once connected with Encompass Housing, one of our dedicated housing navigators, Luis, helped Gabriela secure a studio apartment—a fresh start for her and her daughter. ?? Now, Gabriela feels empowered, motivated, and ready to embrace the future. She plans to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian, is searching for a dog for her daughter, and even signed up for a gym membership! ???? ????
