Q: Where'd you grow up, and what's your favorite childhood memory? A: I grew up around Los Angeles and have tons of memories from there ... Disneyland, the beach, hanging out in Hollywood, and meeting my future wife at the mall. Q: How'd you get into the events industry? A: At 19 years old, I started driving for a film equipment rental house. They liked that I had a wife and son, saying, "it made me more likely to show up every day". When we decided to move to Colorado, I shifted to the manufacturing side of the business. From building components to managing a division, then overseeing international sales from London (yep, I moved again), I saw the world and met a lot of great people. After that, I navigated back to Colorado. Before joining Encompass, I partnered in a high-end boutique production company. Q: What's been your favorite part of working at Encompass? A: Everyone knows what we need to do to get the job done. It's hard work, but we have a good time along the way. Balancing that makes it enjoyable. We also have a great facility to work in. Q: Unfortunately, we're losing you soon! What's in the next chapter of your life? A: This is the time for me and my wife. We want to travel ... a lot. I want to read that book, listen to that album, watch that movie. It's time for years of hard work to pay off! ? We're excited for you, Carl ... best wishes for the future!
