Helping owners create a business they love leading and a life they love living for over 40 years.

关于我们

For the past four decades, we’ve helped tens of thousands of small business owners create thriving businesses and lead more fulfilling lives. We know most owners are better at working in their businesses than working on them—so we take a comprehensive approach to business coaching. We combine proven systems, small business education, and the accountability and guidance of personal mentorship to support the growth of both a business and its leader.

Systems that work aren’t just tactical steps. They’re a delivery vehicle for your company’s expertise and for its excellence—the standards and values that make you stand out from the crowd. That kind of insight is the difference between a system that doesn’t work and one that truly delivers on your unique value. == This past week in our community, EMyth Connect, we helped business owners produce the outcomes they want by developing systems. Were you part of the conversation? If not, find out how to be part of the next one here: https://hubs.li/Q036hr140 #businesssystems #systems #smallbusinessoperations

#SmallBusinessOwners: what do you do with customer complaints? Do you have a regular practice of researching, thinking and analyzing what you hear from customers? Believe it or not, that’s valuable feedback and part of a healthy marketing discipline. It’s information you can use to improve your business practices but also your marketing, messaging and #leadgeneration. #smallbusiness #smallbusinesses #customerservice

As I prepare to take a much-needed break over the holidays, I have to be honest. The past four months have really kicked my ass. It feels like with every big win, we’ve also had a rollercoaster of trials and tribulations. You for sure learn more from failure than from success.?And I for sure have had my share of lessons: 1. Always, always, always put everything in writing. 2. As a leader, you must define and maintain boundaries. 3. It can be lonely at the top. Have a solid support system in place. 4. Always listen to your gut. It never lies. 5. The only constant in life is change. Life happens to even the most dedicated teammates. Get your business systems and processes in place. 6. At a certain point in your business, referrals may not be enough. Find supplemental means of lead generation that align with your company and culture. ? 7. Sometimes business is slow for reasons out of your control. Even if it’s uncomfortable and downright gut-wrenching to lead through, try to embrace the time for growth. Reframe it as space for new opportunity. Reconnect with clients/colleagues. Refine your business operations. Revisit projects within the business that had been pushed aside. See also number 6. 8. As tempting as it can sometimes be to waver from, always stay true to your ideal projects/market. You will regret it otherwise, I promise. 9. No matter how busy you are, put a system in place to maintain regular *human* communication with clients/contacts. NOT sales communication. The best questions you can ask are, “How are you doing?”?or "What can I do for you?" 10. It is really, really friggin’ hard to sell products. Major kudos to those who do it successfully! 11. Most importantly, give yourself grace. Know that it’s okay to fail. Your mistakes don’t define you, how you handle them does. Learn and grow. I am so incredibly grateful for my EMyth coach, Melinda Lawson. Her knowledge, encouragement, and unwavering belief in my potential have helped me navigate all of the above. I've gained clarity, resilience, and painful yet invaluable lessons. I am truly fortunate to have her by my side on this crazy journey called entrepreneurship.
