The GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1980. While the college is housed primarily in Sill and Roosevelt Halls, courses are taught in many other buildings on the Eastern Michigan University campus and at several off-campus sites. The College consists of 1800 undergraduate and 450 graduate students, over 50 tenure track faculty in four schools, and the Military Science department.

The School of Engineering at GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology?proudly hosted students sponsored by?DAPCEP (Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program). This program provides high-quality STEM education to metropolitan Detroit area youth and is dedicated to empowering talented and capable students of color. During their visit, students explored the Woods Construction-Construction Management Lab, where they gained insights into the field of Construction Management. Dr. Suleiman Ashur, alongside his Ph.D. student Salem Alrosan, led an engaging session showcasing the practical applications of Construction Management to students. Students learned about constructing wooden storage sheds, designed and built by sophomore students from the Construction Management and Interior Design programs. This project is part of the Construction Systems course and is completed under the guidance of Professor Adam Bogedain. The program, led by Dr. Muhammad?Ahmed, Professor of Engineering, offered a diverse range of activities during the visit. In addition to the Construction Management Lab visit, students had the opportunity to explore the 3D Lab, the Virtual Reality Lab, the Autonomous Security Lab, and other cutting-edge facilities at the GameAbove College of Engineering And Technology.
