EMU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

At the center of the 18 Division I Varsity sports at Eastern Michigan University is the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Each varsity team is required to have at least two representatives. This group of student-athletes meets monthly to discuss ways to better the student-athlete experience at EMU. Student-Athletes that are chosen to be a part of this group provide leadership and guidance to their fellow teammates and represent EMU with a great deal of pride. SAAC undertakes many different projects and events throughout the year. These events serve both the community as well as the school. Events may include but are not limited to the following; community service events, student-athlete award presentations & banquets, MAC initiative directives and much more.
