Exciting news! ?? Empowr is thrilled to announce that we’ve received a grant from PA Consulting to support the development of our AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS). This soon-to-be-released LMS is designed to empower schools, parents, and organizations everywhere to create and deliver a personalized, high-quality Computer Science curriculum for their students. Our mission? To level the playing field and ensure everyone—no matter their background—has access to the education they need to build sustainable, impactful careers. 2024 has been an incredible year for Empowr, full of milestones and transformative moments! From celebrating a graduating class with 100% college enrollment (including one student heading to MIT) to expanding our reach by over 400% through new middle school programs, we’ve witnessed the power of education to change lives. Some highlights from this year: ? Every junior and senior secured internships at MIT or Microsoft, earning income and gaining real-world experience. ? Students visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Uber, and Figma for hands-on inspiration. ? Adrian Devezin spoke globally about democratizing education. ? We raised over $400,000 through the generosity of our supporters. ? Welcomed Chase Palmer, one of our first graduates, as an instructor. As we reflect on the past year, our students’ resilience inspires us, the generosity of our partners, and the incredible community rallying behind our mission. Announcing our Elevate Prize GET LOUD Award winner for September: Empowr! ? Based in Atlanta, Empowr works to address systematic hurdles facing communities by offering comprehensive programming and creating the school-to-career pipeline. We particularly love their Royalty Program that teaches software development to high school students in low-income communities, where 100% of graduates finish with a full-time job and an average salary of over six figures!
