Happy February everyone! Let’s kick off this newsletter with this great quote: “If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.” ― Booker T. Washington Uplifting others has become especially important in recent times. The first two steps to cultivating empowerment are knowing ourselves and knowing others. By strengthening our own level of empowerment, we also learn how to empower and uplift those around us. This month is Black History Month — a time where we all come together to celebrate and honor Black voices. However, the empowerment of this community shouldn’t be limited to just this month.
