On March 17, eighteen talented high school finalists from across Colorado will take the stage, competing for the chance to represent our state at the National Finals in Washington, D.C. ???? happening May 5-7, 2025. Our team worked with artists, creatives and arts advocates across the state to capture policy ideas that not only addresses current needs but also paves the way for a sustainable and inclusive future for the arts. This framework supports advancing Colorado's creative industry which hopes to enhance the economy and society at large. Empowered, Ltd. had the opportunity to work with CHAC Gallery Denver to honor an incredible woman, Lucille Ruibal Rivera as their first legacy honoree at their Mariposa Gala. More than ever we need role models who envision a future of community, compassion, service, and love. Lucille embodied that and even though we didn't have the opportunity to know Lucille, she still had an impact on us.
