A big focus for me in 2024 is connection. Last week was a great week for it, when we brought the Empower Strategies Consulting team together for an offsite in DC. We spent the week planning for big growth in 2024, brainstorming innovative ways to help our clients hire and train their teams, and reflect on a great 2023. We ended the week with a DC favorite - a Capitol tour and a visit to the Speaker's Balcony. With a fully remote team, I cherish the time we get to spend together in-person. I recently spoke with Startup Caucus Founders about how they can grow their teams, make smart hires, and protect themselves with essential HR policies. A huge part of why I love doing this work with political organizations is because of the smart people working in politics and how incredibly fast and efficiently we can scale campaigns, companies, and teams.
