Meet Thushyanthan Satgunarajah —a highly educated professional with degrees from India(BSc), Sri Lanka(MSc), and the UK(MBA), plus 7 years of procurement experience in Qatar. Despite this, he struggled to find a job in Jaffna, being told repeatedly that he was “overqualified.” After 20-30 failed interviews, he was losing hope. One day, one of our clients from the UK called me. She runs a small consultancy and needed someone reliable to handle paperwork. I immediately thought of Thushy and connected them.The interview went smoothly, and Thushy was offered the job. It was a remote, flexible position that paid slightly above the market rate in Jaffna.? Fast forward 5 months: Thushy is thriving in his role, and she couldn’t be happier with his work. Moral of the Story: ??
