National Manufacturing Apprenticeship Week started with a smashing “Apprenticeship Summit” hosted at Daley College/ MTEC, City Colleges of Chicago and the “Make it in Illinois” marketing team. A warm welcome was offered by Daley College President; Dr Janine Janosky followed by a presentation by the Governor’s Proclamation to Daley College by Sacella Smith the NorthEast Manager for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Our Apprentice Alum Binjamin Davis illustrated how his apprenticeship at Mauser Packaging Solutions garnered him a full time career.
