October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Over 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been abused by an intimate partner. That’s more common than breast cancer, yet we don’t see the same awareness. It’s time to change that. In our most-listened to Emotion Well episode, we speak with a clinical psychologist about the hidden reality of emotional abuse. We explore why it’s so hard to recognize, the cycle of control, and the critical steps to planning for safety. ?? Listen now: https://lnkd.in/gEgtp8Fh
