What an amazing day! Not only did I get to attend amazing educational programs at Empire State Society of Association Executives, Inc. Triple M but I was awarded the “ESSAE Supplier of the Year” Amanda Wing ‘s introduction brought tears to my eyes as I was so moved by what she said. I want to thank all the people that nominated me, it means so much to be recognized and appreciated by your peers. Carrie Laney and Liz King it such a pleasure working with you over the years to grow membership, provide value and making changes to the Trade Show to improve ROI for our supplies and providing our association members a great experience. As I said in my acceptance speech, I should be the one giving ESSAE and award for all I’ve learned over the years. If you work with or for an association and you’re not a member, I recommend that you join. If you are a member I recommend you get involved with a committee. It’s very rewarding, you will make new contacts and you will continue to learn. Lastly, I want to thank Kelly Mullally for being there to cover all the day to day stuff that goes on in the office while I’m tried up on ESSAE calls. You are amazing and I appreciate everything you do!

I am honored and proud to receive the 2024 Communications/Public Relations Award from the Empire State Society of Association Executives, Inc. The Albany ACEC New York team and I attended the awards luncheon today, as part of the annual Triple M conference, where my colleague, Morgan Daignault, also received the Rising Star award. ?? As I said in my remarks today, our 2024 Engineering Excellence campaign was more than just promoting the gala - it was about celebrating the impact of engineering on our daily lives. One of the greatest successes of our efforts was securing a feature story with NBC New York, which brought attention to the growing shortage of engineers and celebrated one of our many scholarship recipients, a young woman with a bright future in engineering. I'd like to thank all of those who contributed to the 2024 EEA communications & PR campaign, especially Gina Genovesi Potfora, CMP and Tony Sclafani. We've made a great team over the past year and I look forward to what we achieve next!

What a great honor to be awarded the Association Member of the Year from the Empire State Society of Association Executives, Inc. ???? Our job as an association leader is to elevate our members and make them shine. We encourage them to share their accomplishments and participate in the organization's awards programs - and we must remember to do the same within our own professional networks as well. It was truly special to be recognized by my peers today, so thank you.
