The New York space sector is making history, with its most comprehensive database of space-related entities now on a journey to the Moon! Thanks to a groundbreaking collaboration between Empire Space and Copernic Space, the Empire Space Census, a digital record encompassing over 1,500 space-related companies, academic institutions, research facilities, and financial firms in New York, has been successfully launched into space. The digital asset, integrated within the LifeShip Pyramid and the Blue Ghost lunar lander lifted off aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket January 15th and is now en route to the Moon, with a planned landing Sunday, March 2nd. Empire Space is grateful to our partners at Copernic Space, including Grant Blaisdell, and we are very excited about opening this new chapter for the New York space ecosystem! #newyork #space #empirespace
