Matt's journey is a testimony to the work at Empire Fighting Chance. He first walked into the gym as an anxious young teenager...and look at him today. Increasing evidence shows that boxing programmes under pinned with psychology can truly transform the lives of young people. A safe space is created to explore trauma...express feeling and emotion...and foster resilience and self esteem. And they can even go on to become a champion - in the ring, the classroom, the work place, and in life. https://lnkd.in/eUUgkpiM

Our Development manager Aaron Morten paid a visit to several amateur boxing clubs in the city, as part of our expanding network of support, building on amplifying the impact and importance of boxing in local communities.
