I had the privilege to join my Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) colleagues for a day at the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSEIA)'s Gateway to Solar Conference yesterday. As a newcomer to solar energy development it was great to attend sessions covering the opportunities for energy sovereignty through solar for Tribal Nations, an evolving solar permitting landscape in Minnesota, and strategies of engaging communities around the change solar can bring. As an engagement practitioner and planner I look forward to bringing experience working with communities navigating change from my time LURA Consulting to this field of work ?
