Alicia York, one of our fantastic Circulation Department Librarians, released her debut novel, NERD CAMP, in 2023–and you can now find it on our shelves at the O'Neal Library on the second floor! Alicia is O’Neal Library’s safety representative. Her passion for patrons and library work is evident in all she does–even outside of work. As a published author, she continues to share her knowledge and love of stories and words. Last week, Lindsy Gardner and Patsy Dreher were recognized at the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce annual luncheon. Lindsy has been awarded the 2024 Mountain Brook City Employee of the Year award.
