Today, we were honoured Minister Warren Kaeding could join us to celebrate this incredible success story within our province's innovation ecosystem. RAYHAWK's journey is a testament to Saskatchewan's innovative spirit and collaborative mindset. And, it is exactly what Innovation Saskatchewan envisioned when it launched the SAIF and AGF programs and made a $15 million investment in Emmertech to exclusively support Saskatchewan-based agtech startups. Innovation Saskatchewan is proud to have provided early-stage support of $450,000 through SAIF to RAYHAWK to help de-risk technically challenging stages of development and now see them grow to that next stage. RAYHAWK is thrilled to announce our $3 Million financing round led by Emmertech. Railways are by far the most critical mode of transportation for the global agricultural supply chain. Grain handlers face a number of key challenges in their rail operations today including labour shortages, safety risks, rising costs, and rail traffic constraints. Rayhawk has developed technology that solves these challenges by employing a specially designed tool operated by a vision-based software to automate and accelerate the most manual tasks within rail loadout operations including lid opening, inspecting, closing, and sealing. Showcasing SK Tech’s Success! ?? Today, we were honoured to have Minister Jeremy Harrison speak at our Saskatchewan Advantage Innovation Fund (SAIF) and Agtech Growth Fund (AGF) funding event at Ground Truth Ag in Regina, alongside Kari Harvey ICD.D, CEO of Innovation Saskatchewan and Divyesh Patel, COO of Ground Truth Ag. We were proud to celebrate growing SK success stories from Ground Truth Agriculture Inc as well as BrewNature and PathoScan, our two latest recipients for SAIF and AGF funding, Ground Truth Ag, a Spring 2022 AGF recipient, demonstrated its automated grain grading technology showing firsthand how it improves the process of obtaining and grading grain samples and delivers accurate and consistent results that eliminate discrepancies and save time and money for farmers.
