Public technical colleges are a vital part of Colorado’s workforce and economy. In his recent Op-Ed published on Colorado Community Media/the Denver Herald Dispatch, Emily Griffith Technical College Executive Director Randy Johnson makes the case for why these institutions deserve more support. As Johnson says, "No matter how students navigate higher education, a technical college is a sure thing with successful outcomes for individuals and, as a result, for our communities. In fact, 85% of our students complete their programs and 93% find a job in their field." ?? Exciting News: We’re thrilled to announce the release of our report "Learning, Working, Thriving: The Experiences of Emily Griffith Technical College Students"! We commissioned and developed this report over the past year to better understand the experiences of Emily Griffith Technical College students and alumni and the impact of an Emily Griffith education on their lives. Key findings include: ??60% of survey respondents report graduating debt-free thanks to financial assistance including scholarships and the Emily Griffith 360 Fund. ??90% of students and alumni would recommend Emily Griffith Technical College. ??60% of students rely on income from work while enrolled.
